Am I the only one who finds removing the Sram & after market chain quick links damn near impossible?
I purchased a new chain from Riv (Sram) for my wife, but when I tried to open the existing quick link couldn't do it. I finally just removed another link and chucked the chain. I have found I can always open the connex links, which are heart shaped, but never the Sram links. I have taken to saving the old connex links when I replace a chain and using them over, as I did on this new Sram chain. I think I now have enough Connex links for all my bikes, so this is an academic question, but do wonder if I'm alone with this disability.
