I think you can (and should) find some discussion of most of your questions by digging through some old threads and the Blug archives. I think Grant said "a darkish blue, with a hint of green." And it's been described as a "non-precious, do-anything, town-ish bike, with mountain/off-road capabilities, that can carry a load really well." Probably not a candidate as a go-fast road bike, though.
