I know that every year (since I don't ride in winter) my ass (sit bones)
flat out hurt for a while. After a few rides , I'm good. I ride B-17
specials. About the sensitive bits...they do get sensitive from time to
time whether I'm wearing lycra (for longer rides) or FOTL cotton under
cargo shorts for work. I haven't successfully figured that out; I find
lycra (pearl izumi ) stitching can bug me as can standard cotton
underwear....geez, seamless would be best. Maybe we're just sensitive,
poetic souls :) I wonder what the other ladies can suggest. As for your
saddle, maybe it's lost a bit of tension...it sounds like something may
have altered there.

By the way, I'm so glad your surgery worked out and you are riding your
Betty again!
