I have a Phil BB in my '98 LongLow, and I have not paid it any attention in
all these years and miles. I'm heavy (230 pounds wet) and tall, so a lot of
torque passes through the cranks (Ritchey Logic) and the BB, and both have
been rock solid for 17 years now. Would a cheaper BB have failed by now? I
dunno... but it spins smooth and I don't think I need to worry about it.
