Hey Rick,

Sorry, no experience with sidepulls, but I run Hetres on my Bleriot
with Paul Centerpull brakes.  Gobs of clearance for fenders.  Right
now I have 26 x 50 SKS fenders (which are waaaay wider than 50mm, BTW)
on there.
