No, $25,000 per year is not much.  But I guess at some point adults do need 
to make decisions on how best to use their talents, interests, and 
education in pursuing a career.  Some  job choices just do not generate 
much income but presumably do afford the person other positive reasons for 
conducting their lives in a given fashion.
