I believe the 4.4 weight limit was created for its intended use on the front with two long struts and the diving board. I had a Mark's Rack set up this way on a Romulus and it was apparent the diving board wasn't built for heavy loads. I think your plan with two pairs of struts raises the weight capability significantly.
