Eric:

The only supple tires I've tried were the Soma C-Lines.  My Atlantis has 
Mavic A-719 rims, and both the Somas and various Schwalbes have mounted 
easily by hand.  I think there's enough difference in rims that a tire that 
may be tight on one could be an easy install on another brand or style.  
Not a lot of experience with this but enough to have an opinion.  

Maybe "supple" tires need to fit tighter for some reason?  Why would that 
be?
