Jacob, Hopefully no harm to bike or others. I had a Kuat beta and for a hanging bike rack, I though it was terrific. I now have a Saris Freedom (tray) and like it even better. The part that touches the frame has flexible channels for the wires to sit in, so very little actually touches the frame. Reasonable price too.
