I never liked any of the tapes, shellaced or not, personally. I love the VO
leather handlebar wrap, the kind you sew on. I am pretty adept at sewing
having a Fine Arts minor in college so it was pretty straight forward to
get laced up. Now I only ride in the rain if I have to so I doubt it is as
all weather as anything shellaced but man its pretty, and with some cotton
tape under wrapped beneath it very comfy.
