While I wish the MUSAs were a tad longer and not quite as baggy, they're without a doubt my favorite shorts for riding in hot weather. They're great for touring. Super comfortable, fairly durable and no one will mistake your for a racer in them. They're also great for hiking and just hanging out. --mike
