I had a fun time and it was great to meet you Hugh, Curtis, Evan, David G. and Tom. I rode up by myself from South Carlsbad after driving home from Northern LA County. It was my 1st ride through Camp Pendleton and I arrived just in time for Pizza and beer. Later on, the campsite conversation and refreshments were great and the weather perfect for cowboy camping. The singletrack trails in San Clemente the next morning added some nice variety to the pavement miles. After that dirt excursion, David G., Curtis and I rode south to Oceanside before parting to go our separate ways.
