Finally, about a week ago, I got rid of my old circa 1972 Raleigh Super Course. It had served me well for maybe 15 years; I had it repainted and all, but I don't know what I was thinking when I bought it (second-hand) because it was too small for me. Amazing what the human body can get used to.
When I ordered my Riv it turned out to be 62 cm. The Raleigh was 58. About seven years ago I bought a reconditioned old Univega road bike, for city/utility use, from Recycle-a-Bicycle in New York City. I've been really happy with it; its dimensions are very close to the Riv. So it seemed the thing to do to donate my Raleigh back to Recycle-a-Bicycle. I support their mission, to teach youngsters a valuable skill and promote cycling. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
