I love the German mirror! I've never had problems with it. Well, besides
it being constantly knocked around when I'm walking, parking, or carrying
the bike. But, it's easy to re-adjust when I'm riding, because the mirror
will stay in the position it was last put (or whacked).

I mount mine about 6-8 inches in from the left end of the moustache bars on
my Riv Road (hard to see in the lower pic, sorry), and in a similar place
on my Schwinn KOM-10, but horizontal under the grip:

That placement sometimes catches my knee in the field of view, but at least
my arm is out of the way. The sweep of the Wald cruiser bars precludes a
vertical position on the bars.

I also love the fender light! I'd like it to flash (I understand why it
doesn't, but still), and I love that I don't have to think too hard about
it. I may try to get the cute metal bash guard for it. I also may try out
the Pixeo Xba; it's the same light but with a light and motion sensor, so
it comes on automatically.
