I have Lierres (38mm, my Riv Road won't fit Hetres) and had 1 flat in almost 1000 miles so far. I swapped the tube and then patched the flat one. I never did find what caused it; it left a small, single hole.
I have about 500 miles on a set of Cerf Blues and had no flats so far.
