Funny thing about the Biopace crank, David... I REALLY wanted to hate this (I liked it for all of 5 minutes when it was first released in the mid-80s, but quickly dismissed it as more useless industry-created novelty). When it resurfaced in my life (years later on my Cimarron), I instantly declared it would be the first component to swap out. But after riding it for only a week, I started realizing..*"Wow, this actually pedals nicer than my other bikes"...* Then I read a few reviews online (including a glowing one from Sheldon Brown), and have to say, there really is something to the Biopace... it just works!!
