I'm trying to add and work with both a StatConnectorGraphicsDevice and the character device but I've been running into trouble. Using VS 2008 on Vista, I am getting the following error when the project starts: "An error occurred creating the form. See Exception.InnerException for details. The error is: Unable to get the window handle for the 'AxStatConnectorCharacterDevice' control. Windowless ActiveX controls are not supported." >From what I understand, this is a problem caused by DEP, which is turned on by default on Vista. Apparently, the only way around it is to recompile the ActiveX controls in VS 2005 or later. Has anybody else heard about this or run into anything similar? Any idea how I might get around the problems? Thanks, Mike Ryckman
