The other day I purchased a Spektrum DX-6i transmitter I am planning
to use for my tank, and I had a couple questions on how everyone
controls their tanks. I was planning to use the right stick for turret
elevation and rotation, and the left stick for the movement of the
tank. Is this how most people control their vehicles? If ot is, how
do you set up a radio to preform this task. I remember hearing some
people talking about elevon mixing, but this seems to be set up for
the right stick only (channels 3-4). I also saw a tank mixer on the
Robot Marketplace website. (just so you know, I run 2 12 volt ev
warriors off of 2 IFI Victor 885 controllers.)
