If you can't counterweight it, Chris, then spring balance it. The
Valentine uses pretty much a complete marker including trigger group
and pistol grip - it is very butt heavy. A plastic barrel sleeve helps
to weght the barrel a little but the main balancing work is done by a
pair of extension springs above the breach.
