Im going to give it a go with silicon. It doesnt have to be able to
stay submerged for minutes, just be waterproof enough to drive through
a 6" or so deep creek, so as long as the main inner compartment stays
dry it will be ok, if a bit of water seaps into the al box frame
inards it wont really matter
