Those who have experience in roller chain tracks, was your chain pre- lubed when you built your tracks? Did you leave the lube on? Did you strip it off?
I'm concerned that with no lube it's going to surface rust pretty quickly, but with lube its going to be a nice glue for all the dirt, stones, pebbles, dust, grass, and whatever else I might be running over when the tank is running.
