A well thought out set of questions Neil.  I would say I was about to 
ask them myself, but never actually managed to get that far.

I would be interested in hearing more, but everything is somewhat 
dependent on timing and travel arrangements.  The latter in 8 weeks, the 
former now. The problem being Mum will almost certainly NOT let me drive 
all the way to Surrey just yet, let alone Manchester.  Even if we take 
the assets I own out of the equation (something I'd rather not do), 
getting me to Surrey by train on a Saturday seems easy enough (2hr 20 
ish and 2 changes), but getting back again on a Sunday is stupid 
(typically 3 - 4 hr and 7 changes), thanks to engineering works through 
London.  As long as one or both of these problems can be avoided after 
my exams, then perhaps we could get somewhere.  Actually hang on a 
minute - I've had an idea.....
