Regarding the current discussion about slowing down fire rates for
"realism".  What people seem to be missing is that very few of our
shots actually hit anything.  IMO enforcing a slower fire rate would
just take a bunch of the fun and excitement out of the sport.  This is
first and foremost a battling hobby and not an attempt to recreate
historic battles in minute detail.  If that's your thing fine, but
there's more appropriate hobbies for that.

If I might make a suggestion for those quick to criticize the rules.
Build an asset if your so inclined, come to some of the battles, hang
out with the guys and get a feel for the sport.  I think you'll find
the current rules work quite well.
