No, mine were hardware problems, too :)

I wasn't really suggesting that somebody actually build something to
implement the delay. The point I was trying to make (poorly) is that we
couldn't implement a firing rate rule. Given the variety of firing
mechanisms in our vehicles, I can't imagine a device that would work for us.

If there magically WAS a rate of fire solution that fell out of the sky onto
our assets, I think it would make for better battles. IMO, it's OK as it is
though.

kept your tank out of game 1 and a circuit kept mine out of game 2.
Chris, build a delay in your tank if you want the realism. This game
is about maneuver and accurate firing. In real world battles, if the
enemy was on your 6 you were dead meat. If Steve, or Frank, or Doug
can do that and fire 4 hits in 4 seconds, seems fairly realistic. Most
of the time we've already been hit on the flanks and taken damage.
