That looks like a very reasonable motor. (But I'm no expert) I assume you should purchase the gear housing for the scooter to be placed in the tank, correct? Has anybody used this type motor or something similar?
Also, I have a question concerning tracks. I have only begun drafting the blueprints of my Sherman, but I was thinking ahead about the treads. I was considering using probably wooden links, but with two lines of #25 roller chains between the links to be used with power transmission. (Double-bogies and single track-horns included) However, the #25 sprockets required for the 5"*d* front drive wheels on the Sherman are expensive. Can anybody offer a place where four, 5"*d* #25 sprockets can be purchased? If not, what track methods would you recommend?
