I was researching gun emplacements using tank turrets such as panzerturms and
tobruks when a thought entered my mind. Firstly, such things might be a fairly
easy starting point for a beginner. Secondly, such things exist at a fair
price in 1/35 scale. Thirdly, (I have to give a bit of background on this one)
(a) I have been looking at Fruil metal tracks for quite some time. (b) I have
two BT-7 1/35 scale static models that I picked up to scale my 1/6 BT-7 from
that I have no real use for. (c) I have been researching a good way to hack
servos to convert to continuous rotation. (d) I just finished assembling a
Tamiya twin motor gearbox, just to see how it works. (e) I picked up a Panzer
38t cheap from Wal-Mart (in 1/32 scale) that turns out to have working road
wheels and sprockets.

So, keeping all of this in mind, I've decided to build those two BT-7 models as
working r/c models. Is anyone else working in this scale? I mean it seems
like a near no-brainer to me. The sheer volume of prefab vehicles, buildings,
people, etc. seem to scream "R/C me!".

I know that we are all about 1/6 scale and paintballs. Just wondering if
anyone has done anything in 1/35.
