I've been thinking about how to motorize a static model tank using a
Kyosho Blizzard RC snow cat. It is 14 in. long, so more like a 1:16
scale tank. I have a cheap Chinese M1A1 tank that's broken, but
unfortunately it is too large in scale to match the Kyosho.
