No, I'm still designing and doing some prototype builds. This link will show
you my turret plug and proof of concept shell.

Frank convinced me to make a mold for the turret with the promise of
"ultimately, it will be a lot less sanding". I hate sanding. I'll start on
the mold pretty soon. If you change your mind and want to go with a 2:15
scale T-72, I'll be happy to make you a turret.

Doug,

Do you have allready pictures of the T-72? I would like to them, I love
russian tanks =D
For the turret, I haven't got an idea yet.
I still have a big stock of fibre glass and resin from my previous tank.
My T-34 had a fibregls turret and it's not very diffecult and it gives good
results after sanding it.
But I think it will be a metal turret. I don't have a lot of experience
(none) shaping sheet metal.
I think the T-72 turret will be more diffecult because the turret is
completly curved, the T-55 has 2 flat plates on the top.
I'm going to use my hands, plate work tools a bench-vice for shaping it.
afterwards fill to make it smooth.
The advantage of a metal turret is that you can weld a lot of things on it
to give full details

I don't have a lot of experience with metal work, It's trial and error,
that's what I like about this hobby.

I hope this helps a bid
