Welcome back Sam, a note to let you know that I am cutting aluminium sheets with a jigsaw as we speak (for my new Polish 7TP ...) and it works like a hot knife through butter. My jigsaw is 700 Watt and my aluminium sheets up to 4 mms thick. Theoretically, you should go up to 10 mms thickness for aluminium, after teh specs. You should be fine with metalworks. Keep us posted.
Chrys I don't have a lot of experience with metal work, It's trial and error, that's what I like about this hobby. __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4188 (20090625) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
