It looks great so far, Derek. Is it 1/6th scale ?

An M113 is one of those vehicles that the hobby absolutely needs. Nice
choice. My only problem with it is that it will bring guys like John more
ammo to shoot at me.

I remember Frank saying that he had five unbuilt tanks laying around his
shop. I know I have at least one !

Hey all,

Since the list has been fairly quiet the last couple of days I thought I'd
share my build in progress.
It is of course an M113A3 to be used as a supply vehicle or possibly I will
construct two tops, one
with a turret and one without. I'll have to see how well it turns out
before making that decision. Been
working on it off and on for the last 3 weeks. I keep joking with the wife
that I have bought enough
parts to build an entire tank from what I didn't use on the Sturmtiger.
Well, I'm kinda proving that point.
Only had to buy the drive sprockets and a few nuts and bolts at this point.
Right now the wheels are
my biggest sticking point. I need them to be 4" x 1/2" to fit the tracks.
The wheels I have are just
much to wide and I've already ruined a couple of them trying to modify them
to fit. I guess at this point
I may just have to make some out of 1/2" ply and say the heck with it. I am
planning on making the
ramp in the rear fully functional. Enjoy!
