The scrollsaw mostly does model boat ribs, although I've used it quite
a bit for small, quick cuts (like gun mount prototypes, MAG throttle
assemblies[holds servos and switches], braces for the hull here and
there, and I have some blades that cut aluminum suspension arms
nicely). If I had a functional bandsaw, I've no doubt that it would
meet my needs and then some :) Now that nursing school is over, I
will be saving up for a good freestanding bandsaw. I have a cheap one
that needs a bunch of work and it's a small table model so I haven't
messed with it as yet. With my salary going up quite a bit (hard to
get good tools on $8/hr and still pay the bills), I'm looking forward
to many nice things that'll help me get a tank rolling, and maybe
shoot at Mike's SV until he has the Mark ready.
