When the grandkids were interested in robotics, I found a GWS receiver at Robot Marketplace that worked with the Vex xmitter. I agree that a Propeller chip would be overkill, but reports are that a Basic Stamp can't do the job and i sold all of my SX stuff last year at Propeller Expo. I have never worked with a Pic, I figure I have enough on my plate with the BS and Propeller.

servos ($20), I'd do that one simply to save time :)   But to use a
Propellor chip seems overkill in this application, I'd think a Pic
would do it handily.
