Some elaboration of Baby Eric's text is apparently necessary. The
mighty forces of Camp Eric were opposed to the brave powers of Camp
Albert. Neil supplied the house and, to make the task of shooting the
doors more difficult, he'd built a moving barrier comprising a square
of glass mounted on a 100:1 (or similar) motor which rotated it once a
second or so. So you had to shoot when the glass wasn't protecting the
door. A paintball chipped off a sizeable corner of the glass and in
the picture we can see Jason checking whether the glass was sharp by
the time-honoured method of poking it with his finger. It was.

The castle is getting somewhat battered and may be consigned to the
great motte and bailey in the sky but it is rather fun shooting it as
it is made of insulation and the paintballs sink in and carve grooves
etc.

It is true that we had persons of the female persuasion in attendance.
Claire did rather well with the jeep. And to think I was once told off
on this board for mentioning a woman... how times have changed,
they'll be driving cars next*.
