Nice work . I think most people would like a real looking track like this but the work load would be to much for most builders , my only concern with this design would be reliability in the field. 1/8th pins are quite small for the work load that they will have to endure. I could imagine these tracks coming apart due to all the places they can come apart. I hate to pour cold water on your idea but if something can go wrong, it will . I do hope you prove me wrong ..
