If you are having a difficuly time finding treadmill belt, you might try old fire hose. That was an option I was looking into before I luckily found an old treadmill in someones trash. It might work as well as other belts, but someone would have to try to see. Bravo on trying the inner tube tho. More is learned from failure than any other process.
