not too sure about that break idea might just be easier (i'm not really sure about that) to try to mount a set of disc breaks to the axle i'm a bit confused about your track design. i see the hinge, but don't understand why your adding the tread mill belt as well - is this just a way of beefing it up a bit (aiding the hinge in some way). as you have shown, you can take out the hinge pin, but when you do, the tread mill belt will still be holding the track links together. and then there's that BIG bolt sticking straight up - what's that for? is that to be used to engage somewhere to drive the tank? if so, i thought that drive sprocket was to do that. come to think of it, the leaver design to drive this tank, are you planning to have the motors running all the time even when your sitting still?
