Ok !! Clearly my drawings create more confusion than understanding :0)

almost everything in my drawing has been inspired if not directly
copied from Dave Manson , the man behind the 'How to build a 2:5 scale
tank' videos on YouTube. Yes Clark ,he has been a blinding inspiration
to many tank builders. my design is a much simpler/lighter idea than
is excellent counter rotating design.

I have been told how single track skid turning is more efficient if
the none powered track is braked (locked) so as one drive lever moves
forward to power its track the other lever pulls back to break its
track . this break can also be used as a parking break so the thing
wont roll away down a hill.

The hinge in the track is where it joins , Im not going for a scarf
jointed loop, you pull out the pin and the track comes apart.
The big bolt sticking up is one of the track guide teeth, two per
track link with the wheel in the middle, just like my 1/6th marder, I
may decide to make a more scale replica and hold it in place with the
bolt . also the bolt head reduces ground wear on the track pad.

The motor will run when my foot operates the accelerator/esc, my other
foot will have to control direction some how, like a motorbike some
how ??? , when I want to go somewhere I push one or both levers
forward .
