My upgrade is going to be a Harbor Freight special:

   - $18 pump: http://www.harborfreight.com/1000-gph-bilge-pump-66095.html
   - $75 battery:
   http://www.harborfreight.com/12-volt-35-amp-hour-universal-battery-68680.html
   - $20 battery tender/charger:

http://www.harborfreight.com/15-amp-three-stage-onboard-battery-charger-maintainer-99857.html
   - $0 float switch: from my old pump.

FYI, keep those float switches when swapping out a sump pump. Their $45
new.
