The motors you are looking at are great for airplanes but for heavy tanks they dont have the torque. They have reasonable hp but they dont have the power. They only have 680 watts.. not 800. I have many brushless motors in my rc cars.. up to 3 hp for a 25 lb buggy that used to have a 30cc gas motor. It works great for that .. but it does not have the torque to move heavy objects. The big brushed motors have big magnets and wiring so they can move a wheel chair or scooter weighing 200lbs or more. You say that the regulators.. ESC... are difficult to find, they are easy to find and are very cheap. I think that the motors you are talking about will not work in anything that is 1/6 scale. I have many electric motors of all sizes and types.. for tanks you need a tank size motor. My 2 cents worth.. Garnet
