There are 368, 1/8 inch, stainless steel pins.
Each has a tiny groove in the end that accepts a 1/8 inch spring clip - thats 
736 grooves and spring clips.
If you look close at the picture, the end of the pin is tapered to allow 
installation of the spring clip.
The clips are soo small that they are very hard to install - just picking one 
up is hard to do.
 
I ground a special carbide tool to cut the grooves. The tool and the grooves 
are .015 inch wide. The clips are .010 thick.
