A truly interesting vehicle. It doesn't really fit into any of the existing categories, but if it were built to proper 1:6 scale (11" long, 6" wide and 4" tall) and could successfully navigate on the battlefield, then the following provisional rules would apply:
1) The Goliath Mine would be given a defensive rating of "1", with no frontal exemption (same as Bazooka Joe). 2) The Goliath Mine would be given an offensive rating of "1 shot 1 kill" (same as Bazooka Joe). That is, it would be capable of immediately destroying any vehicle when "detonated". The 5 foot rule for Tanks and Armored Cars would *not* apply to the Goliath Mine. That is, the Goliath Mine would be allowed to be detonated at any distance from any asset. 3) A Goliath Mine would carry a paintball grenade, slightly-pressurized bladder or paint-filled balloon on either it's front or top face, with a trigger device. When detonated, any and all assets splattered by the paint would be considered destroyed. The Goliath Mine would be awarded any remaining hits on each asset destroyed. For example, if a tank already had two hits against it, then the Goliath Mine would be awarded two hits when the tank was destroyed. For soldiers guarding an artillery asset, hits would be awarded for all soldiers splattered by paint. 4) Since the Goliath Mine was incredibly slow in real life and is a "1 shot 1 kill" EDA (Extremely Deadly Asset) it must be no faster than the slowest vehicle on the battlefield. As with Bazooka Joe, stealth and sneakiness is paramount. On Thursday, August 28, 2014 4:21:34 PM UTC-4, Caleb Smith wrote: > > 1. What would its defensive and offensive ratings be?
