Hi. I've been lurking around the internet watching the hobby grow for over 10 years now. I've always wanted to get into the hobby myself. I am starting my own tank build. Currently in the design stage for the chassis and suspension. I have so many questions! The most relevant right now.
1: How active is the hobby on the west coast? 2: My buddy and I are planning to build FPV into our tanks. I don't see that addressed in the rules. 3: We would like to have a two man crew operate each tank, with a driver/commander and gunner. Is that allowed? 4: How "accurate" does a scale model have to be? Our plan is to make a well designed RC tank first and make it pretty later. Basically I want to know now if our plans will fit in, early in the process, so that I can design accordingly, or just do our own thing.
