Thanks guys! Interesting idea, Doug. Depending on the shape of your part it might work. The one concern that comes to mind is the micro-ridges from the layers. I wonder if they might keep the part from coming out, and since the mold will be solid it won't bend out to release the part. Maybe a two piece mold? Idk. If you try it out be sure to share the results!
