I find reading the UKMARC records we prepare very difficult in the
absense of punctuation within the elements.  Elements with no ending
punctuation look naked to me, particularly if in the same paragraph,
or notes produced from 246s.

There is no way of knowing how an element will be displayed.  Display
will differ from one OPAC to another, and one type of display to
another within the same OPAC.
