But exception is not best way to finish backup on production machine, do you have another thing? May be is more correct catch it, and print out normal informational messages, if it is not realy errors??

They were being printed only because you had the "-v 5" option. Those messages are printed when the exception occurs on the remote end, but is handled by the local end.

And what about not worked --exclude?
May be I should fill bug for that? Where?
