To the best of my knowledge there is no minimum height specified in the NEC. However, many inverter manufacturers specify a minimum height. You’ll need refer to the manual for that. I'm trying to find a code reference that says how far off the ground the DC/AC disco on the inverter needs to be but am not finding one. Could be that they are in the 3' range. Not ideal but might be our best option. Anyone know where I could look up compliance?
