Hi Chris, In the past I have had success with renting a skid steer with auger, or a mini excavator with auger. With a little practice you can become proficient with the machines, the hardest pasrt is getting a plumb hole. The mini excavator is nice, with a thin digger bucket you can also do your trenching. Is fun to learn how to operate these machines.
