LG has just dropped the ball on this period. SMA is culpable in letting this happen.
I see LG is coming out with a bigger version of the 10H. LG blew the 48v market 3 years back! And worse, they never wanted to find the root cause. Was it charge or discharge that killed their 48v batteries? Even though the solar edge seems to work with LG, I would avoid LG on batteries. Too many good choices out there. As we all know the SMA parameters page is not the easiest to interpret and unfortunately there is not documentation to explain the parameters such that we could make meaningful adjustments. I'm guessing the indemnity / no-sue paperwork that SMA insisted I sign before they provided the BYD is their card to cease technical support...beware out there. Whenever somebody says they have a better storage mousetrap I always wonder if the system has truly been put through the paces and has necessary tech support.
