Hi Greg, XW+ is supported until warranty runs out. After that Schneider will still be of help on it if you are a registered installer. XW+ is still sold new in the 230vac version outside NA. There is one memory board in XW+ that was improved for XW pro for grid apps. It will not be hard to find someone who works on them in the secondary market. That said, in my opinion XW just keeps working once installed correctly and does not need the secondary market for repair like Outback does.
The config tool is great as I do not need a network at some clients homes, and it is excel based for logging. I would measure each inverters AC. If it is more than 2 volts different, for offgid app, I would say that is not your problem. You never stated if the firmware was up to date and the same on each inverter? I stopped reading your post after that because that could be the problem. Network, AC power, DC power need to be installed in raceways as per the manual. MPPT's have had firmware updated for a few things. Good Luck !
