I have a question: why so small a generator?  I've always regretted under sizing the genny for battery charging.  Larger gensets are not as fuel hungry as you might think.  I was surprised recently when I did some calcs, and found that a larger genset would actually get slightly better fuel consumption at the proposed load.

Plus the larger gensets are usually built to last longer than the portable stuff.

Hello Again All,

Or I'd consider suggesting propane to the customer as well.  Any experience with know compatibles in propane?

Thanks All,

Aren't there any 5-8 KW gas gennys out there already set up for 2-wire start?  We do that all the time with bigger units.

Thanks again!

Best,

jc
